Fr. Hampsch's Address and Ministries:

Fr. John Hampsch is a priest who has a gift of healing.  His primary vehicle for healing is through healing masses for the generations.  He lives in California, and if you send a donation for the missions (see address below), he will have a mass said for your family.  Sometimes it is helpful to write down your family tree so that you can see the different problems in your family tree that are passed down through the generations.  When the masses are said, then these problems can be broken, and not passed on.  Different areas to look for, which you can note (or not) on your generational diagram (it is not necessary; but helps you to see where the problems are), are problems like these:

*Addictions:  Alcohol,  drugs,  food;   too many to list...

*Divorce

*Adoption

*Sudden Death

*Especially painful, someone who dies alone, with no love surrounding them, when their soul leaves their body

                        *Or whom you have neglected to pray for after they are gone

                        *Or who did not die in peace

*Especially painful, at the beginning of life, when the soul enters the body, for a child who is conceived out of wedlock, or a child who is conceived out of lust, or a child who is not wanted by either parent. 

*Morbid grief – those who can not let go of someone who has died, and it just lingers on, sometimes for years, the grief just does not go away

*Situations where relatives are not forgiven, perhaps for a grave wrongdoing

*Rage and Temper tantrums

*Racism or religious hatred

*Name your problem or hereditary disease here, there are many more...

Really, when you start diagramming these things onto your family tree, you will notice two things, usually.  First, the problems on one side of the family are also on the other side of the family.  This is because we usually end up marrying into the same kinds of problems that we’ve had ourselves.  Second, you may see some things repeat.  If you do notice some things repeating through the generations, know that you are seeing a problem in your family that needs healing.

A note about having a healing mass said for your family tree:

 To help you understand how healing masses, work, first it is best understood that Catholics consider the mass to be the most powerful prayer in the world, so when you are asking to “have a mass said”, you in essence, are asking for some very powerful prayers for your family, and family tree.  Many miraculous healings have happened at masses.  You can never “pay” for a mass, because that would be a sacrilege.  Jesus already paid the price for our sins.  However, you make a donation to Father Hampsch with the intention to have a mass said.  Fr. Hampsch, in turn, makes a donation to the missions, and in his gratitude for your donation, he prays for you and your family tree in the context of a mass.
